SOS ATC plane emergency simulator - school project, not real! Pilot view

SOS ATC

Our hackathon project ("Into the Sky"). When a plane has an emergency it finds airports it can land at safely, plans a route around storms and mountains, gives step by step instructions and sends other planes to help. Everything is made up, don't use it for real flying!

  1. Open the simulator, pick a scenario and press Start.
  2. Pick a plane and press Trigger emergency, then pick an airport (Land here, or click it on the map).
  3. Send a helper with Ask to help. Open the Pilot view in another tab to see what the pilot sees.
  4. Real weather comes from Open-Meteo. Live planes need python phs_server.py.
orange = storm, red dashed = no planes allowed, purple lines = restricted, blue = airports, red line = emergency route, green line = helper route, purple planes = real planes, blue = real rain and wind
